On Thursday, December 1st we experienced the most crazy weather we have ever faced. Catogory 2 hurricane winds that lasted from 2am to 12:30pm. The winds were consistently between 70-80 mph with gusts up to 102 mph. Our house was shaking, we received damage to the house and lost power for 28 hours.
I think the craziest part was that there was never a time when the wind calmed down. Not once. It just kept blowing and blowing then harder gusts would come through. We watched as our siding came off, our neighbor's roof blew off and lots of other stuff fly down the street.
This is some of the siding that didn't actually come off but is blown up all over the house.
Our fence held a lot better compared to most others around us. We will need to reset all the posts and put the one section back in.

That used to be our patio table.
Our trampoline pad was torn apart.
This is the siding on our breeze way, or what's left of it.
Our neighbor lost lots of siding too.
It's a little hard to tell but in the middle of this picture is what is left of the McDonald's sign.
This is what the 7-11 canopy looks like on both sides.
