We are happy to announce the arrival of Sophia Emilee Beaird. She was born on July 19, 2008 at 9:42 am at St. Marks Hospital in SLC, UT. She weighed 6 lbs 1 oz and was 18.5 inches long. She is doing great and is so beautiful. She has lots of brown hair and a gorgeous face. Mom is doing well also and is having a speedy recovery.
I cannot believe that it has been so long since I have written in my blog. I feel like such a slacker. So much has happened. Let me try and give you the run down.
Mike and I decided to move back to Utah because the baby is coming and we hadn't gotten an offer on our house. The week that Mike came back to Utah to look for a job, we got a good offer on our house. We decided to accept the offer and things with the house sale have gone really well and we are getting ready to close next week on the 22nd.
With the house sale and baby approaching we had to find a new place to live. We looked around a lot, but finally decided on a house to rent in Holladay. We do want to buy a new house, but we want to take our time to find the right thing and not feel rushed about the decision. We are excite about this rental house because it is even closer to family and will suit our needs with Bjorn and the baby. We are going to move into the house this weekend.
Rex and Suzy found a really cute place to rent and moved into it about 2 weeks ago. It is a farm house on 1 acre in Sandy. Rex's favorite part is that it has commercial sized two bay garage that he is setting up as a shop. Since they have been in there, the family has had lots of parties there. The kids love it because there is tons of room for them to play and ride scooters. They also have a covered patio that makes a great eating area.
