Cherry Pickin'

We got an insider tip on some awesome cherries, $1/lb!  There is a guy here in Farmington that opens up his orchard to the neighbors the Saturday before he opens to the public and allows them to come and get first pick.  The cherries looked like grapes because they were so dark and bunched together on the branches.  It was really fun and reminded me of when my family would go to the strawberry fields as a kid. We picked 45lbs of cherries which was about two branches worth.
Addie was mad that we didn't just let her eat the cherries whole.

I love this big sister look Sophie is giving.

11 Months

Well I missed a 10 month post completely and 11 months seem to be slipping by as well, but at least I am doing one right?  Life has been a little crazy since we have been in yard mode.  Everyday for the past month we have spend every free moment working on sprinklers, prepping for concrete and raking for the sod installation. I will post pictures of that all after this.

Well Addie...Addie, Addie, Addie.  You are a different child then your sister and have been giving mommy, daddy and everyone else for that matter a run for their money.  You are on the go all the time.  Trying to walk and climb on everything.  You don't want to fall down and if you think you can't make it, you just sit and crawl instead. You took your first real steps on June 1st but then have not been very interested in walking again until two days ago. I was putting you to bed and you walked from the gate at the stairs into your room. Now you seem to try and walk more and more.  Knowing you, you will probably be running next week.

Things about you:
You like to talk.  You jibber jabber all the time.

You don't want anything that is for babies.  You are a big girl.
You love to play with the big kids and wrestle.
You already know how to talk on the phone. You have a play cell phone you love to use.
I don't know that you really have any favorite foods, but you usually eat pears, peaches, cottage cheese and whole wheat bread.
You love your big sister and she makes you laugh so hard.
You like to stand on the couch whenever the opportunity allows.
You like to blow on anything that will make a sound and slobber too.
You are a little drama.  If you are put down and don't want to be, you bury your face into the floor and sob.
You love to play with blocks and have discovered that you can throw them down the stairs.
You try and crawl into the bathtub when ever the chance allows. We have to keep the bathroom doors closed at all times.
