On Saturday it happened, Addie climbed out of her crib. We had put the girls down to bed and Sophie kept getting up, which was keeping Addie awake. Sophie left their room and closed the door. A few minutes later we heard the doorknob jiggling. She must have gotten out ok because we didn't hear any thump when she got out.
As we were discussing it Sophie said, oh man, I should have stayed in there to see how she did it. She seemed really bummed that she missed it.
We were busy doing other things this weekend and haven't gotten around to changing her bed to a toddler bed, but I plan to tomorrow. On the same day, our neighbor's daughter climbed out of her crib and broke her arm! So sad...I don't want Addie to be next.

Addie and Olive are two peas in a pod. Olive started climbing out on her 2nd birthday. No matter how sucky it is that they are in a big bed, you can't let them fall all the time and get hurt. I just wish they'd all stay in cribs happily until they're 5 :)
