We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out that our new addition is a girl. I guess we will be thinking pink for another few years. I have been putting off painting Sophie's room for about the last year because I knew we planned to have a second. I didn't want to put all this time and money into it just to repaint. Since we know we are have another girl, I am making plans for pink!

And there it is, the bum shot with little girl part.
The ultrasound tech said that she looked textbook perfect. Great heart rate and was measuring exactly how she should be. She also said that she was an incredible cooperative and easy baby. I hope that will be true when she comes out!
She is positioned the same way as Sophie was, head down, back on my left side, feet and hands on my right.
We took Sophie to the appointment with us, but she fell asleep in the car and stayed asleep the whole appointment in Mike's arms. She woke up when we left and was upset that she didn't get to go to mommy's doctor. I showed her the ultrasound pictures and pointed out eyes, nose, foot, etc. She like the pictures so much, I made her a copy of them.

"Look mom, I can stretch my arms."
She lost interest in the pictures for a moment.

Congratulations having a baby girl! Sophie will have alot of fun playing her baby sister!! We are so happy you guys! Way To Go you and mike!!! Mike will have alot of fun with his cute daughters!!
How lucky are we everything is just as it should be...Happy for Sophia too cause I had to go through 3 brothers and wait 15 yrs. for my baby sister!!
we are so excited for you! Baby Beaird is going to love her family. I can just see her dancing around with sophie in their dress-ups!
